You’ll Never Want Canned Corn Again
Fresh corn is one of my absolute favorite things to eat in the summer and there is just something about roasted corn that epitomizes the summer season. Normally, to roast corn, you need a grill to cook it on but this recipe makes the best roasted corn right in the oven. Now you can roast corn all year round! And you will definitely want to after trying this recipe just once.
The corn is placed in a roasting pan and smeared with a tasty butter blend that you make yourself. Feel free to add more spices to the butter to make it perfect for your taste (however, the recipe is fantastic as written!). 20 minutes in the oven and then the corn is turned, re buttered and cooks again. The result: beautiful ears of corn that are full of juicy flavor.
Butter is definitely key in this recipe so try not to substitute with margarine or any other non-butter product. If you want true, delicious, creamy roasted corn, then you need the butter. But don’t worry, you are getting a whole serving of vegetables served in a scrumptious way. No need to turn on the grill anymore when you want roasted corn- it comes out even better when made in the oven!
