Forget the Mess of Stuffing Peppers – These Poppers Are Ready in Minutes

Once again I’m back at it looking for new ways to make game day delicious. From meatballs to dips, there’s nothing like a game day appetizer to make things fun while you’re rooting for the team. If you love spice, however, you’re probably on the lookout for a classic appetizer: the pepper popper. I love them as well, but I don’t love the mess of trying to stuff peppers. And then when you bite into them, they squirt everywhere! Here’s a great twist on the classic pepper popper that makes them easy to make and even easier to eat.
The secret is a crispy, crunchy wonton wrapper! You simply line a muffin tin with the wrapper, make a filling out of all the classic popper filling ingredients, add the chopped pepper to the filling, and fill up that wonton wrapper. It’s a genius way to get rid of the mess while still serving up this favorite appetizer. I have to say I was impressed by the cleverness when I saw this recipe come up on Pinterest. It comes from the mastermind behind Lemon Tree Dwelling, and I can’t thank them enough for sharing such a great way to impress your guests.

USE THE RED NEXT PAGE LINK BELOW FOR THE RECIPE AND INSTRUCTIONS.

Quick tip: Although the recipe doesn’t specify, I suggest using a mini muffin tin, or using two wonton wrappers per muffin in a regular tin to keep it all together.
