Just When You Thought You Could Never Have Delicious Chocolatey Treats Again!
I don’t know about you, but the first thoughts that come into my head whenever I try to follow a new eating plan are these: But what about chocolate? Can I really face a life where I never again can eat a delicious chocolate dessert? Do I want to live a life like that? CAN I live a life like that, realistically? The answer has always been a resounding “NO!” Thus, one more attempt at self-improvement goes swirling down the drain, sigh….
But wait! There’s hope on the horizon! Yes, it’s truly a chocolate miracle! Chelsea has created delicious, moist, gooey Double Chocolate Peanut Butter Muffins that are not only a chocolate-lover’s dream – they are actually healthy, as they contain no flour and very little sugar. No flour? How can that even be possible? You’ll just have to read the recipe to find out!
Are they going to compete with those giant muffins that stand six inches tall and billow out over the top of their muffin cups (Why do you think they call those pouches of fat around your waist “muffin tops,” anyway?) – of course not! But they ARE going to be a chocolatey oasis in a desert of salads, veggies and lean proteins.
