If you’re running short on time but want a good home-cooked meal, these mushrooms are a saving grace. You can have a side dish or a meat topper, as I like to call them, in just 10 minutes. Plus with minimal ingredients, you probably have everything you need at home aside from running to the store for the mushrooms. It’s a hearty side that will complete any chicken on steak dish in a jiffy! These will be your new go-to ’shrooms from now on.

salt and pepper
¼ cup balsamic vinegar

In a medium sized skillet over medium high heat add the olive oil. Add the mushrooms and salt and pepper. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until they start to become tender.
In a small bowl whisk balsamic vinegar, honey and minced garlic. Add the sauce to the mushrooms and continue to sauté for about 3-5 minutes until the sauce reduces and mushrooms are tender and coated in the sauce. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
