Tender Fall Cake, Bathed In An Impossible Sauce, Will Blow You Away!
Do you remember those magical cakes that would make their own sauce, back in the day? Well, Kara has taken that basic concept and elevated it to a whole new level. Move over, mundane chocolate! This Pumpkin Cobbler is going to blow you right out of the water.
I love the fall, it is my favorite season of the year. The light changes, setting the annual parade of colorful leaves ablaze with crimson, scarlet, orange and golden hues. The falling temperatures and crisp, clean air invigorate me. Taking long walks with my pups become highlights of my day, instead of necessary chores.
I like to quickly assemble this cobbler, which is easy to do in spite of the long ingredients list, and pop it in the oven right before we head out on our walk. When we get back about an hour later, the whole house smells amazing and the cobbler is ready to come out of the oven. Even the pups gather around, wanting a taste. Sorry guys, it’s strictly people food.
Letting the cobbler cool down a bit before serving it is a really good idea. Take it from me, it is all too easy to burn your tongue on that hot, molten sauce.

Quick Tip: Oh no! You go to make this and only have self-rising flour in your pantry? No problem! You can use it as a one-to-one substitute for all-purpose flour. Just be sure that you omit the baking powder and salt, since self-rising flour already contains these in the proper proportions.
