Calling All Chocolate Lovers: We’ve Found The Perfect Dessert
I’ll be the first to admit I don’t have a sophisticated palatte. Every now and then I’m invited out to work dinners with clients and unlike most people who love any opportunity to get a free meal I just get anxious. Where are we going, what’s on the menu, what if it’s obvious I don’t like anything?? The stress gets to me—I’d much rather be home eating boxed mac and cheese.
And I mean I feel like it can’t be just me. Does everyone really love those ”fancy” dishes like Foie Gras (it’s goose liver, people!) or are they jus tpretending to fit in? I’mguessing there’s a lot of the latter…
Anyway, you’re probably wondering what any of this has to do with this delectable recipe? Well, nothing really, other than it’s a testament to the fact that sometimes the best foods are the simplest. Who needs fancy presentations and ingredients you can’t pronounce when you can good, old fashioned comfort food?
No one, that’s who.
I stick to cooking and baking recipes that I know are pretty much universally loved. They typically easier to make and are the foods that people really look forward to eating—not pretending to like to fit in.

Quick tip: Customize this dough to however you like it—add in other baking chips (white, caramel, peanut butter) or chop up a few of your favorite candy bars and mix them in. You can’t go wrong!
