These Bacon Cheeseburger Pinwheels are the perfect party appetizer or easy and fun weeknight dinner! They have a tasty hamburger filling that’s made ultra-delicious with the addition of crunched up French fried onions. Ingredients (mix up order)
1 lb lean hamburger
3 Tbsp tomato juice
1 egg
1/4 cup French fried onions, crushed
4 strips bacon, cooked and finely chopped
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 can refrigerated pizza dough
Directions
In a large bowl, combine first 6 ingredients. Roll the pizza dough into a 9×15 rectangle and top with hamburger mixture. Spread the hamburger evenly over the dough. Starting with the long side, roll up into a log. Slice into 16 pinwheels and place on baking sheet.
Bake 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown.
