The Perfect Appetizer for Fall
Every year for Halloween, all the nighbors in our cul-de-sac grab lawn chairs and tables and make a little block party. We all bring sharable dishes and make a pot luck meal out of the evening before the kids start trick-or-treating. This year it was our turn to bring the main dish.
One of our other neighbors had the appetizer category and she came out with these adorable little pumpkins (or what I thought were pumpkins). It turns out, there were mini cheese balls! They are perfect 4 cracker bites full of flavor.
The best part is how they get their ”pumpkin” appearance – crushed up cheese crackers! Actually making it is incredibly simple. With only 4 ingredients (plus the cloves for the stems), it’s about as easy as you can get, plus the end result is adorable. It looks like you spent hours creating this mini pumpkin patch of cheese balls.
It’s such a cute and easy appetizer or snack with a beautiful fall presentation. It’s always a hit at parties and I never had to take home leftovers. Everyone always asks for the recipe too! You have to add this to your fall staples with all of the holiday gatherings.
