These Standard Snacks Never Run Out Of Style!
A group of ladies in our neighborhood get together for Bunco on the first Thursday of every month. We trade off hosting and last month, it was my next door neighbor’s turn. I normally go over there early to help her set up the tables. When I walked over there, she was just putting up the grill. She mentioned she wanted to try this new recipe she found instead of our usual chicken salad sandwiches.
Once the other ladies began to arrive, she pulled out these beautifully charred grilled chicken strips on sticks. You should have heard the vocal response, like hens in a hen house! Had I not seen her with the grill earlier, I would have thought she picked them up from Chinese takeout.
While the chicken was nice and moist, I have to say the real zinger and highlight of the dish was the sauce! I can’t tell you how many sticks I threw away that night. And she had minimum clean up after we devaured them before we evn started the first game.
They were so good! All of the neighbors walked out of Bunco that night with this new recipe – it’s a crowd pleaser!

Quick tip: Add some skewers of red bell peppers and pineapples and add a side of brown rice for a full meal.
