Who Knew You Could Make This Classic Soup In Your Crock Pot?

Make This Set It And Forget It Dish For Supper Tonight!

I have a house full of kids who are very picky eaters. And the foods that one kid likes the other won’t touch with a 10-foot pole! So often times it can be a challenge to get something on the table that everyone will eat enough of so they’re not begging for snacks an hour later.

And try as I might there are some things that just will not make it off the plates (I’m looking at you fish and leafy greens). Fortunately, there are some dishes the kids love and my husband and I both enjoy as well, so those frequently make an appearance at our dinner table.

One of those recipes? Chicken noodle soup. However, I just don’t always have the time in the afternoon to babysit a pot of soup on the stove. After all, I’m pretty sure leaving a burner on while rushing the kids from school to dance or piano or what have you isn’t encouraged.

So when I saw I could make a delicious soup in my slow cooker I knew I had to give it a whirl. There’d be no worrying about a hot stove or waiting until the sun went down to actually get dinner on the table!

Quick Tip: If you don’t have a full 8 hours to let this cook set it to high and cook for 4-5 hours (check for doneness at 4).
