One of our favorite easy snack recipes. With just a few simple ingredients you’ll have this tasty app ready in no time.
Please tell me I’m not the only one who looks forward to easy snack recipes they can take to parties like this dip? Or is totally obsessed with a good appetizer? I know there are at least a few others of you out there. Because, let’s face it, there’s almost nothing better than a batch of your favorite dip, a stack of salty, crunchy crackers, and unlimited time to enjoy it.
(I may or may not have made a meal out of a few of my favorite easy snack recipes, too, but that’s neither here nor there.)
So when I came across a recipe for this Million Dollar Dip I knew I just had to try it—and then stop myself from eating the whole batch in one sitting! I mean the name kind of says it all. It tastes like a million bucks and perfectly satisfies your easy snack craving. Fortunately, my next-door neighbors were hosting a barbecue the next day, so I popped it in the fridge after sneaking my few test bites and banished it from my mind to save enough for everyone else to enjoy. And enjoy it they did!

Quick tip: For a healthier twist serve this with a variety of veggies—I think it would go particularly well with carrot and celery sticks!

Hi, it was fun to see how you wrote up the intro to the Million Dollar Dip and nice to see it on your website. Thanks!

Thank you for the great recipe Mollie!
For the dip party I would also say bring printed recipes to share.
Has anyone made this recipe with toasted almonds?
Had all the ingredients on hand and whipped this up for a Baby Shower I was going to the nest day. It was a hit. Thanks for the recipe, will definitely keep it for future use.
I have been using this combination for years ( add a little shake of garlic powder ) …but I put it on bag-get slices and broil…we call them Selma whiskers..you can also freeze them before broiling and just pop them under the broiler…soo good
Could you use something other than almonds (allergy)?!
What do you substitute the toasted almonds for or are the almonds an added ingredient?
Oops – sorry, I didn’t see the slivered almonds in the recipe! A little too early in the morning. Looks delicious; will try for the Holidays!
Can I use Miracle Whip instead of Mayonise? Walnuts or Pecans instead of Almonds.
Carol! It’s YOUR dip. Do what ever you want to!! Might be even better!
Looks great, can’t wait to try it for Super Bowl 2018. Think I will leave out the green onions though.
I have also used crab meat, and finely chopped celery
No Carol, you’re not allowed to make any changes. The dip police will come to your home and get you. SMH.
OMG! This recipe should be called the Million Calorie dip…so so good though!
I use this recipe but put it on a baguette and toast it in the oven. Delish!
