A Sweet And Savory Meal The Whole Family Will Enjoy
It doesn’t get much easier then these sweet and crispy drumsticks. In our home whenever we roast a chicken or turkey the kids are always fighting over the drumsticks. There are three kids and two drumsticks, do the math, it never ends pretty. So instead I’ve taken to making drumsticks for dinner. They are fun, simple, and go well with nearly any side dish.
One of my favorite things about drumsticks is that they are cheap and versatile. There are so many fun things you can do with them. I add them to my grocery list without really having a plan most weeks. They are that extra meal I haven’t prepped for but know I will get to. A simple coating of oil, a dusting of spices, and toss in the oven to crisp up. It’s fast and easy!
When I came across this recipe I just knew I had to try it. The heat of the red pepper flakes, the intensity of the garlic, and the sweetness of the honey are the perfect combination. The crispy skin of the chicken is the absolute best part. But how do you get it like that?

Quick tip: We love garlic. To cut back on the time needed to mince it for nearly every meal I have begun purchasing it in squeeze jars that stay in the fridge until needed. They have been an amazing time saver.
