The Ease of a Slow Cooker and the Delicious Flavor of Homemade Pizza in One

There’s something about a slow cooker recipe that really appeals to me. Even if there’s some prep involved first, it’s nice to know that I can get a meal started when I have time, and then forget about it till it’s dinner time. No mad dash for dinner when everyone’s getting home makes me and them much happier. But some meals have never seemed like they could be made in a slow cooker – until now. Now that I know that I can make a fantastic deep-dish pizza in a slow cooker, I feel invincible!

This recipe makes a killer Chicago-style pizza, which is hands down the best kind of pizza there is. The fact that it bakes up in a slow cooker is not only easy for me, it also means you’ll get that chewy crust that makes deep dish so delicious. Just a few minutes of prep before to get the toppings ready is all you really need. Want to make it even faster? Forget the meat and just make a plain cheese pizza. Thanks go to A Spicy Perspective for this innovative way to make pizza any night of the week. I’ll be making this again very soon!
