Ah, bread pudding! The very thought of it reminds me of being at my great-grandmothers house, inhaling the bewitching aroma as she baked bread pudding. But hold your horses, because this isn’t my Granny’s bread pudding. Not even close! But it could start a whole new family tradition at your house, once your family tastes it.

Bread pudding is one of those things you either love or hate. For me, it really depends on how it is made. Hand me something that is moist and spongy, yet firm, with a definite crust and covered in a tasty sauce and you’ll have me eating out of your hand like a puppy. Give me some solid mass of bread that I just know is going to sit like a lump in my stomach, and I’ll say “No, thanks.” Every time.

This bread pudding is saturated with peachy goodness. There is peach drink in the custard that infuses the bread, and there are layers of peaches built into the pudding. Even the Rum Sauce you pour over the top is built upon peach drink. There is no way in the world you are going to miss out on peach heaven when you make this dessert!
