Turn a Party Standard Into an Elegant Appetizer with This Recipe
I love it when a recipe manages to combine two of my favorite things of all time. I love bread dip. Who doesn’t love dipping a piece of crusty, chewy bread into a hot bowl of cheese and herbs? I also love shrimp scampi. The buttery, garlicky flavor mixed with the fresh taste of perfectly cooked shrimp, is a dream come true. And now there’s a way to have both at the same time. This shrimp scampi dip by Damn Delicious is one of the most creative dishes I’ve ever made, and I’m so glad I did! The creaminess, the cheesiness, the shrimp, all work together to make an excellent appetizer that I can’t get enough of. I served this to a crowd during a dinner party and everyone asked for the recipe – it’s that great. I wish there had been leftovers but that just means I’ll have to make it again! Thanks to Damn Delicious for yet another amazing recipe that I just can’t help but save for more parties in the future. Another great part about this recipe? Not much cleanup. You just need one skillet and a baking dish, and it’s easy to serve up in smaller ramekins for a sit-down dinner if you wish.

Quick tip: Chicken stock can be used in place of the white wine in a pinch.
