Irresistible Cheese Dip with a Seafood Kick Will Please Any Crowd

I love football season for one reason and one reason only: the food! Gathering everyone around the family room with a ton of finger foods and appetizers is one of the best ways to enjoy a night (and avoid cooking dinner!) in my opinion. I’m always on the lookout for new appetizer recipes for game season, and this spicy, cheesy seafood dip is a new favorite! Delicious Cajun-style shrimp meets the yummy creaminess of parmesan and cream cheese. Slice up some baguette and toast, or even serve this with pita wedges or tortilla chips. There’s no way to not love this dip.

I served this up alongside a few other appetizers one night, and despite all the recipes being fantastic, this was the first one to disappear. All of our guests raved about the dip, and I’ve handed out the recipe more times than I can count. The chefs behind Jam Hands deserve a big round of applause for turning a classic Cajun dinner favorite into an easy dip for entertaining. Now I just have to make sure that I don’t eat it all before the next party! This recipe calls for baking this, though I think it could be easily converted to a slow cooker if you prefer.

Quick tip: Need to mince garlic quickly? Peel a clove and use the tines of a fork! Simply press the fork down onto the garlic, then lift and change direction before pressing down again. Repeat this process till minced.
