From Snacks to Breakfast, This Salted Caramel Almond Granola Will Blow You Away
I have recently started to love Greek yogurt for breakfast. I know I’m a little behind on this train, but better late than never right? Add in some granola and a little honey, and this is a creamy and sweet breakfast that hits all the right notes without being too heavy. But one thing I’ve noticed is that it’s hard to find granola that I love without it being filled with preservatives and sugar. So I went hunting for a way to make my own that didn’t require a ton of time spent babysitting an oven. This recipe relies on a slow cooker, the perfect method in my opinion. I can set it up and forget it until it’s done!
Not to mention the flavors in this recipe are outstanding. You start with salted caramel almonds for a sweet crunch, add just a touch of honey, and roll it all together for something that tastes like it should be on your dessert plate. I don’t’ every want to eat granola any other way, and I’ve been munching on this for snacks as well as for breakfast. I’ve even seen the kids eyeballing it, so you know it must be good! Big thanks to Blair at The Seasoned Mom for this delicious recipe.
