This recipe for homemade vanilla coffee creamer is an absolute life saver! A friend shared it with me, and I’m not sure how I ever got on without it. It only has four (yes, FOUR) ingredients and they are actually recognizable, unlike the majority of ingredients listed on a bottle of creamer from the grocery store. It comes together in minutes and makes the perfect companion for your morning coffee.
It’s perfectly sweet and vanilla-y, making even your local coffee shops jealous. I make myself a batch every Sunday to enjoy throughout the following week. It’s a great guilt-free way to enjoy your coffee.
Ingredients
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
4 tablespoons maple syrup
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Whisk together the first 3 ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Once the mixture begins to steam (mine also started to simmer slightly), remove from heat and add the vanilla extract. Cover the pan and steep for 30 minutes. Pour into a bottle/jar and keep in the refrigerator.

Quick tip: This lasts in the refrigerator for about 10 days. If you won’t use a whole batch in that time cute the ingredients in half to make a smaller jar.
