Your Morning Cup ’O Jo Just Got A Whole Lot Sweeter
If I’m being honest with myself I probably drink just a bit too much coffee. I know they say that one cup in the morning isn’t too terrible for you, but when one cup in the morning turns into three cups by the end of the day… well, then it might be time to cut back. But it’s just so hard to turn down a steaming hot cup of the good stuff, particularly when it’s been perfectly sweetened by a generous dose of creamer.
What can I say? Coffee just knows the way to my heart.
Not wanting to give up my daily cup ’o Jo but recognizing that I probably could make it a little healthier, I decided to ditch my creamer habit. After all, I knew my store bought creamers definitely weren’t good for me. And I figured that giving up creamer wouldn’t drastically effect how much I enjoyed my morning fix. The very next day after declaring myself creamer-free I found out just how wrong I was.
My very first sip revealed that I didn’t have the stomach for the bitterness of black coffee. But, determined to stick to my store-bought creamer ban, I looked for another solution.

Quick tip: To change up the flavor add different extracts like hazelnut or almond. Start with ¼ teaspoon and taste test until you’ve reached your desired level of flavor.
