This classic grape salad had somehow escaped our notice until that night and I’m mourning the wasted years without it! It’s absolutely delectable and a perfect complement to the many savory sides we always serve with our meals. There’s a little bit of everything in it that makes it hard to resist.
From the cool and refreshing grapes, to the sweet and tangy sauce and the crunchy pecans sprinkled on top this is one sweet salad this is hard to top. I’ve made it for my husband and kids multiple times since that night and it’s always gobbled up instantly!
Ingredients:
1 lb red seedless grapes
1 lb green seedless grapes (mine is not pictured with green grapes, because they were out at the store! But it’s definitely prettier with both colors of grapes)
1/2 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Brown sugar, to taste
Chopped pecans, to taste
Directions:
Wash and stem grapes, set aside.
Mix cream cheese, sour cream, sugar and vanilla together by hand.
Stir grapes into mixture, and stir until coated.
Pour into large serving bowl. Cover and chill until ready to serve.
Sprinkle each serving with brown sugar and chopped pecans.

Quick tip: Toast your pecans before sprinkling to add extra flavor and crunch.
