  • bacon pepper green beans

I can honestly say I’ve never been a huge fan of green beans until I tried them with this recipe for Pepper Bacon Green Beans. There is so much flavor that each bite it like a party in your mouth. The rich, fatty, crispy bacon perfectly complements the bright flavor of the green beans. And the pepper is a nice spicy pop that’s unexpected yet totally brings the whole dish together.

This is a perfect simple yet flavorful side dish that’s a step above usual plain or buttered green beans. Everyone at the party loved them and a few even requested the recipe. I’ll never make green beans another way.

Ingredients

1/2 cup diced yellow onion
