The Secret To This Cake Is In How You Cook It—You’ve Gotta Give It A Try

  • crockpot pudding cake

Ladies and gentlemen, meet your new favorite dessert! This crock pot chocolate pudding cake has to be one of the most scrumptious desserts I’ve ever tasted. And it’s so easy to make. A few pantry staples mixed up together make the intensely chocolatey batter. Then your pout it into the crock pot and let it work its slow cooking magic.

What you’ll end up with is the most moist, rich and fudgey chocolate cake you’ve ever seen. The edges of the cake fully cook but the center stays moist—almost pudding like (hence the name)—and just begs for a scoop of vanilla ice cream. If you need an easy dessert you’ve got to try this one!

Ingredients

8 1/2 oz. pkg. chocolate cake mix
3.9 oz instant chocolate pudding mix
1 pt. sour cream
4 eggs, beaten
3/4 c. oil
1 c. water
6 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

Mix all ingredients in a mixing bowl; spray the inside of your slow cooker with a vegetable oil; toss in your mixed batter and Cover; cook on low setting for 5 to 7 hours. DO NOT stir while cooking! When done, dessert should be cake like with some chocolate “lava” in the center. Serve warm, over ice cream if desired. Makes 6 to 8 servings
