Spooky Rotten Eggs Make Your Halloween Party Delightfully Devilish
I love Halloween. I love the cooler air, the fun parties, the candy, and all the costumes! Because I love to entertain, Halloween is just another excuse to throw a big party, and I’m always looking for fun party food that I can serve up to my guests. From monster “fingers” to spooky themed cakes, I have a blast putting together fun foods. But these “rotten” deviled eggs may just be the most creative Halloween food I have ever seen. The mastermind at Parenting Chaos created this two-step recipe that starts on day one with a quick boil and overnight bath, and then finishes up on day two with assembling the eggs. This process isn’t very hands-on, so don’t worry about the time – and the extra steps are so, so worth it when you see these crazy marbled eggs.
I love when food looks fun and exciting, but I will tell you who loves these eggs more than me – my kids! What kid doesn’t want to eat a monster egg? This recipe is a great way to get a kid in the kitchen during either step, and they’ll especially love the unveiling the next day, seeing that the eggs turned rotten!

Quick tip: During the first step, how much food coloring you use will depend on your personal artistic taste. You can see what it will look like through the Ziploc bag, so just take it slow.
