You Can Add Your Favorite Pizza Toppings To This Dish
My closest friend just had her second baby this past weekend, and I wanted to make her family a dinner to hopefully help ease their load at home right now. I had a Pizza Lasagna before, and I loved it, so I knew I had to try to recreate the recipe for my friend’s family.
I made this dish for my own family earlier in the week, to test it out, and to make sure everything came out of the oven perfectly before I handed it over to my friend. It turned out perfectly!
My husband pulled me aside after dinner, and he said he definitely wants this meal on our weekly dinner rotation from now on, so it must be that good! I even made another the following night, but I added different pizza toppings to the mix.
That’s what’s so great about this recipe – you can essentially make the Pizza Lasagna taste like any of your favorite pizzas and add in any ingredients. Pepperoni, sausage, olives, green peppers, mushrooms, it can all go in a Pizza Lasagna!
This is the perfect solution for a mid-week dish! If you want to simplify this recipe even more, you could brown the meat, cook the noodles, and then assemble the dish. Wrap it up, stick it in the freezer, and then all you have to do is toss the dish in a preheated oven when you want to eat it!

Quick Tip: Add a few leaves of fresh basil to the filling for an aromatic dinner.
