We Can’t Rave Enough About These Fun Cookies
As a new grandmother my mind is alreayd filled with visions of the fun my grandkids and I will have. From fun summer days at the beach when Momd and Dad are at work, to weekend sleepovers, and Christmas cookie baking my heart is just so full! Each and every time I hold my new grand baby I just can’t help grinning from ear to ear.
While my little sweet pea will be much to small to help me bake for the next couple years that doesn’t mean I can’t start getting together some easy recipes that will be perfect for us to do together. Since I’ve been retired I’ve taken to making more complext dishes and desserts—after all, I’ve got the time so why not? My most recent dessert—my first homemade angel food cake—was a stunning success.
It definitely has me itching to try out more adventuruous recipes.
But when I think of my sweet little Anna I can’t help but feel pulled towards those simple,cozy recipes that whip up in a flash and are perfect for sharing on a lazy afternoon at home. These cookies fit that bill perfectly and after just one taste test I knew we’d be making them together.

Quick tip: to amp up the hot cocoa flavor mix in 1 packet of hot cocoa mix to the dough when adding in the flour mixture.
