You Won’t Believe the Secret Ingredient in These Cinnamon Rolls

I can remember during my childhood going to the apple orchard for the first time. Walking through the rows of towering trees and the taste of the fresh, hand-picked fruit. If you think they are fresh from the store, I highly suggest going to an apple orchard – they have the best flavor! My mother would make homemade apple pies with our gatherings. It was the perfect fresh ingredient paired with the spice of cinnamon and the delicate, flaky crust.

I tell that story because the first time I had this recipe, it took me back to the orchard. My life literally changed – why had I never thought to add fresh apples the breakfast staple of cinnamon rolls? When we had this for the first time, I was at my mother’s house with my kids. I even told her that it brought be back to my childhood with those fond memories of farm trips.

My kids spent all morning with my mom in the kicthen preparing them, and once they were finished, they were gone in less than 20 minutes! If they can disappear that quickly, you know it’s a recipe you have to have, which is why I’m sharing it with you!
