Hearty Ingredients and Tantalizing Herbed Butter Make the Perfect Dinner
Summer may be almost over, but that doesn’t mean that grilling season is at an end just yet. One of my favorite things in the whole world is a tasty recipe that also doesn’t expect me to clean a lot. I feel like this recipe by The Recipe Critic really understands me on a deep level, because it is filled with steak, buttery vegetables, savory herbs – and no mess! Thanks to a foil packet cooking method, you can avoid all the pans and platters. Just chop up the ingredients, assemble right into the foil, cook, and unfold. Digging into this recipe was no hardship either. The ingredients may be simple, but they work together perfectly.
Huge thanks goes to The Recipe Critic for this tasty dinner. My kids loved the novelty of eating from the foil packets, and I just loved the fact that I could have some steak without a big hassle. And you’ve never tasted anything as delicious as the herb butter that melts into the ingredients as this cooks! I definitely recommend sticking with top sirloin, or another very tender cut. This steak needs to be tender on its own, because you can’t babysit it inside the foil like you would when you typically grill.

Quick tip: Be sure not to smoosh the foil down onto the ingredients – the packet should have room for steam to gather inside, which is what cooks the vegetables.
