If your kids are anything like mine, this turkey meatloaf recipe is a winner! Personally, I like it because using the turkey makes it leaner and not as greasy after you cook it. You can even have seconds without feeling bad about it. You still get the homestyle favorite without the guilt! Trust me, your kids will never know you used turkey instead of beef because it keeps the same flavor as the traditional dish!
The prep is quick and you can just throw it in the over and walk away until it’s done. Perfect for a weeknight meal!
Ingredients
1 pound extra-lean ground turkey breast
¼ cup plus 2 tablespoons ketchup
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large bowl, combine the turkey, ¼ cup of ketchup, and all remaining ingredients and mix well with your hands.

Quick tip: If you have a herb garden, sprinkle some fresh chopped parsley on the meatloaf before slicing for a bright touch.
