This Classic Dish Just Got Even Better
Spaghetti and meatballs? Doesn’t everyone have a recipe for spaghetti and meatballs? Not like this one!
This recipe for Crock Pot Meatballs in Red Sauce is actually my mother’s recipe, and she used to make it every single week when I was a kid. As a mother myself now, I’ve tried making other spaghetti and meatball recipes, but nothing seems to beat my mom’s.
Here’s my favorite part about this recipe: it can serve as the main dish (simply ladle it over spaghetti or another pasta) or you can omit the pasta, and serve it as an appetizer for parties, tailgating, or any other event! All you have to do is supply toothpicks, and your guests can pick out as many saucy meatballs as they want to munch on!
It’s like this Crock Pot Meatballs in Red Sauce dish knocks out two birds with one stone. If I know I won’t have a lot of time to focus on making dinner during the week, I use this recipe to feed my three kids and husband. It pairs great with a big piece of garlic bread or a side salad! If I have to bring a dish to a party, I make only the meatballs and sauce, leave them in the Crock Pot, and simply bring it with me to the event!
