These crockpot chicken tacos are so full of flavor! Between the salsa and taco seasoning there’s just the right amount of spice (I almost always use hot salsa—I love the kick!), and this taco meat is so versatile. We just like ours with flour tortillas but this would also make a great filling for a quesadilla or enchiladas.
Besides chopping up an onion, this is literally a dump and go recipe. Just pour everything into the crockpot and walk away. Perfect for those days you don’t have time to worry about supper but still want a meal your family will love!
Ingredients:
6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 small onion, sliced
1 jar of your favorite salsa
1 packet taco seasoning
Juice of one lime
Directions:
Add the chicken breasts, taco seasoning, the jar of salsa, onion, and lime juice in the crockpot, stir and cook on high (4-6 hrs.) or low (6-8 hrs.) Once finished, you should be able to shred the chicken with a fork. Place meat mixture in tortillas and top with your favorite toppings!

Quick tip: To make clean up a breeze spray your crockpot with cooking spray before adding your ingredients, this prevent anything from cooking to the pot.
