I’m always on the look out for recipes that have the right combination of ingenuity and frugality. If you can transform an old favorite using just a few ingredients that I already have on hand, you’ll be my new best friend. So that’s why the author at Rainy Day Gal completely blew me away with this recipe! I admit it’s not much of a “recipe”; more like a quick step to add to a process you’re probably already familiar with. But this completely changes the way I see cinnamon rolls. Have I mentioned that I love cinnamon rolls? They may be the perfect breakfast food on their own. Adding bacon on the side really turns them into the perfect breakfast or brunch.
