Tickle The Taste Buds Of Even Your Pickiest Eater

The more things change, the more they stay the same. When I was a kid and got sick, my mother would always fix me chicken noodle soup, the kind in the red and white can. For some reason, it was the only food that tasted good to me.

It now has been shown that chicken soup actually does help a cold feel better. When this was discovered, mothers of the world stood in their kitchens, nodding and saying, “I told you so!” in total vindication for insisting we eat this every time we got the barest sniffle or touch of fever.

Now Stephanie brings us a very interesting and delicious adaptation of healing chicken noodle soup. It is exactly like chicken noodle soup, except it is in casserole form. If chicken noodle soup heals your body, surely this creamy chicken noodle casserole can comfort your heart and soothe your soul, healing whatever ails your metaphysical self.

This casserole is actually a fine representative of a new trend in food, namely taking one food item, deconstructing it down to the individual ingredient level, then taking those exact same ingredients and creating a whole new type of food that has, basically, the same taste as the original, just in a different form. Hence we have chicken noodle soup transformed into chicken noodle casserole.

Quick Tip:  Can you imagine how difficult it would be to eat this casserole if there were long strands of spaghetti in it? So you will need to break the strands of spaghetti into 3 or 4 pieces before you cook them
