It’ll Make Your Taste Buds Jump For Joy—Make It Today
When my husband and I got married we were fortunate enough to go on a trip for our honeymoon. It wasn’t anything fancy and we didn’t find ourselves lounging on a tropical island, but it was absolutely perfect for us a newlyweds.
We decided to go on a week long road trip, hitting as many states as we could and finding new adventures at every turn. It’s hard to pick a favorite stop along the way, but one that always stands out to me is one night we stayed at this absolutely adorable bed and breakfast. It was cozy and inviting, with a variety of picturesque rooms to choose from.
But the best part of that bed and breakfast? The breakfast! We were only there for a morning so we made sure to try our fair share of the items they had on the menu and nothing was short of amazing. From expertly cooked crepes to savory eggs benedict, we were in foodie heaven. The best thing we had there, though? Stuffed French toast.
I had never indulged in that particular breakfast treat before, and it was downright heavenly. So once we got back and all settled in I set out to recreate it—and succeeded!

Quick tip: If you’d like to make your filling a little sweeter than just from the natural sweetness of the strawberries add a few teaspoons of powdered sugar for each half off of cream cheese.
