You’ll Never Waste Another Taco Night With Store Bought Tortillas
If you are anything like my family and millions of other families out there, Taco Night is a time honored tradition in your house. What’s not to love? Tacos are easy to make, easy to eat, and easy to sneak veggies into. Everyone loves them and I can’t remember the last time I had to convince a kid to eat a taco. All of that spells “perfect weeknight dinner” to me, but what happens when you run out of that key ingredient: Tortillas? You could have taco salad night of course, but that’s not the same. Instead, why not try throwing together your own?
I was surprised to learn from this recipe by The Gracious Wife that tortillas are not as hard to make as I imagined. I pictured some kind of old grandmother’s secret being the key to making great tortillas, but really it’s just a matter of rolling the dough flat enough and cooking correctly. This recipe shows you how! And don’t worry if your tortillas are not perfectly circular – no one can tell when they are chowing down. Big thanks to The Gracious Wife for this awesome recipe. I’ve now learned something new and turned taco night into a given no matter what is in the pantry.
