The Flavor Of This Bread Is Out Of This World Good!

  • beer bread

This homemade beer bread has quickly become one of our favorite party snacks. It’s got a great texture—the perfect blend of dense and fluffy—and is full of savory beer flavor. Plus, it only takes four ingredients to make!

The only thing I was upset about after baking it was that I didn’t make two loaves—it disappeared so quickly. I served it with a French onion dip and people just went nuts for it. It’s been given a permanent spot on our get together menu. We’ll be enjoying this for many years to come!

Ingredients:

3 cups self-rising flour

2 Tablespoons sugar

1 12oz bottle of beer

1 stick of butter (1/2 cup)

Directions:

Preheat Oven to 375 degrees F. Oil 9x5x3 inch loaf pan. Combine flour and sugar until blended. Add beer and stir until the dough is formed. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured work surface and knead dough until it is smooth and elastic. Form into a loaf shape and place in the prepared loaf pan. Brush the top with melted butter. Bake for 50 to 55 minutes or until cooked through
