Dare We Say This Is Even Better Than Grandma Used to Make?
Going around and saying something is the ”best” can seem a bit far fetched. After all, people have different tastes and preferences and something one person loves another person might not want to touch with a 10-foot pole. But then there are those one in a million recipes, those rare unicorns of the culinary world that are nearly universally loved, and when you find those recipes you have to hold on to them.
I might be biased but I feel that my grandma probably made quite a few dishes that few people would find it hard to say ”no” to; her chewy chocolate chip cookies, her pan friend pork chops and her legendary apple pie probably all fit that bill. And for a while I thought that her Thanksgiving stuffing recipe was one of the top recipes, too.
In fact, it was my go-to recipe for years. I was convinced I’d never find one better so never made it a point to try anything new.
Yeah, that was a bit of a mistake on my part.
Last year a dear friend of my hosted a ”Friendsgiving ” celebration and served this exact stuffing recipe. I nearly dropped my fork after trying the first bite. My grandma’s stuffing recipe had just met its match.
