This Classic Sandwich Just Got Even Better

So Much Cheese It’s Just Impossible To Resist!

Are you ready to take an American classic food to the next level? Then get out your griddle because it’s time to make some grilled cheese! Not just any old grilled cheese though, a Philly Cheese steak grilled cheese. I know, it sounds absolutely amazing… layers of thinly sliced steak covered in melted cheese all smooshed together in buttery bread…. Okay, this grilled cheese needs to happen right now.

The whole recipe only takes about 15 minutes to make from start to the first bite- not bad for something that sounds like heaven between bread. The rib eye steak is cooked in a frying pan and once cooked through, provolone is added to the mix. Then the beef is piled on mayonnaise lathered bread and topped with cheddar cheese slices- yes, more cheese!!! You can cook the sandwich in a frying pan, on a flat top griddle or in a grilled cheese press- any option that will toast the bread to golden perfection is the way to go!

The result of your hard work (although it really isn’t that hard…), a hot, cheesy melty sandwich stuffed with juicy beef with a nice crisp bread holding everything together. Okay, that’s enough typing for me- I have to go make my lunch…can you guess what it is?

Quick tip: A little salt and pepper on the steak before it cooks will add some extra flavor in a very easy way.
