Creamy Cheese and Saucy Meatballs Meet for a Dip That Will Blow You Away
Football season is upon us, and that means it’s time to start collecting appetizer recipes! Finger food nights are my favorite. Although they do sometimes mean more prep work for the chef, it’s so satisfying to sit around “munching” all night instead of eating a real meal. It makes you feel like a kid again – if a kid got to choose their own meals. This recipe from Wine and Glue hits the spot. It’s cheesy, saucy, and filling enough to be the centerpiece to a finger food night!
You start with yummy Italian meatballs, cooked to perfection in a skillet on the stove. Then you create a cheesy dip, layer it in the skillet with sauce and the meatballs, and finish it all off in the oven. Of all the game day recipes I’ve found this year, this is by far the easiest. Then you just dip and eat! Be sure to make those meatballs small for dipping, or break them up before you serve so everyone gets a taste. I love this dip served along side something cool and refreshing, like dill dip and chips, but you can choose your own favorite game day snacks to serve up with these meatballs.

Quick tip: Want to keep this recipe a one-pot appetizer for less mess? Use cast iron or another oven-safe skillet.
