This Candied Carrot Casserole Is The Side Dish Of Your Dreams

  • peach galette

This Peach Galette is absolutely stunning! It literally looks like something you got from a quaint local bakery by a professional pastry chef but only takes 10 minutes of prep work to get into the oven. A flaky pie crust (I used store bought to save time) is filled with fruit, sugar and butter then topped with cinnamon sugar and baked until bubbly, golden perfection.

The peaches get deliciously soft, forming an irresistible filling. And the cinnamon spiced pie rust gets perfectly crispy. It looks so impressive and tastes even better. A must make if you need an easy yet beautiful dessert!

Ingredients

1 store bought refrigerated pie crust

2 large peaches, peeled and slices into thin wedges

1 Tbsp cold butter, cut into small pieces

2 Tbsp granulated white sugar

½ tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. with the rack in the lowest position.

Place the piecrust on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Leaving a 2-inch border, top with the peach slices in a decorative fashion. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of sugar mixed with cinnamon and the cut-up butter. Fold the edges of the dough toward the center, overlapping slightly and partially covering the fruit. Brush the edges of the dough with water and sprinkle with the remaining cinnamon-sugar.

Bake until juices are bubbling and the crust is golden, 35 to 40 minutes.
