My dad had an old bread machine, which he used to make us fresh loaves every Sunday. I can still remember the warmth and comforting feeling of the smells that wafted into my bedroom in the morning. My favorite recipe from my dad is his Savory Onion Bread Loaf, which tastes perfect with a little cream cheese or with eggs in the morning.
