Bacon and Ranch Transform a Cheese Ball into a Savory New Dish
If you haven’t had a cheeseball in your lifetime yet, what rock have you been hiding under? This is a classic appetizer that is served at every type of holiday, special event, and party that I can think of. But everyone has had the classic version that includes ham, green onions, and often Worcestershire sauce. This take on a party favorite involves bacon instead of ham, and delicious ranch flavor. I have never had an appetizer that I love more than this one, hands down. It’s creamy and cheesy, savory and tangy – all the things that make a snack great. Serve this up with some crackers and you’ve got a crowd pleaser on your hands. Be prepared to share the recipe, you’re sure to be asked for it.
I have to thank the chef behind Damn Delicious, this is not a flavor combination I would have come up with on my own. The nice part is that you don’t really need to learn anything new – if you’ve made a classic cheeseball, you know how to make this recipe. Grab some bacon and get started before your next big event. I know that I plan on making this several times for the holidays, and at least once just for me, because I hate sharing something so delicious!

Quick tip: Make sure the cream cheese is softened before you begin mixing ingredients, or this will take much longer.
