A Bite With An Entire Breakfast Baked In!

This recipe, courtesy of Delish, gives you that hefty home cooked meal, without the worry of the fast weight gain. When you are busy with life, school, or family, it can be hard to take care of your body the way you are supposed to. This recipe lets you indulge while still keeping it health conscious.

If you are hosting a brunch, these will surely be a crowd pleaser. They are super adorable, and will give the guests a great beginning to the many different courses. They are simplistic, yet pack a punch. You can never go wrong with a classic combo.

 

Ingredients:

8 large eggs

kosher salt

Freshly ground black pepper

1 tbsp. chopped fresh chives

1 tube crescent rolls

4 slices cooked bacon, halved

2 c. shredded Cheddar

 

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375º. In a medium bowl, whisk eggs and season with salt and pepper. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add eggs and chives and scramble as desired.

On a lightly floured work surface, roll out Crescent Rolls. Top with cooked bacon, scrambled eggs, and cheese.

Roll up and transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Bake until deeply golden, 12 to 14 minutes.

Serve immediately.

Quick Tip: If you want a hardier taste to the roll, a thicker cut bacon will do the trick.
