This Is The Best Recipe For Creamy Broccoli Soup That I’ve Ever Had!

My Soup Is Always The First One Finished At My Church Events

I have made this Creamy Broccoli Soup for a few small gatherings at church in the past (craft days, potlucks, bible study groups, etc.) where everyone brings a crock pot full of soup to share, and it has been the first soup gone every time!

There’s something about the combination of a healthy vegetable and copious amounts of melty, cheddar cheese that is just so appealing to everyone. Have you ever heard of someone not liking a cheddar and broccoli soup? Me neither!

And, since we’re talking about crock pots, I must also tell you that this soup is great to make earlier in the afternoon and then stick in the crock pot on “low” or “warm” for a couple hours until you’re ready to eat it. This way, you can have it ready to serve for when the kids get home or when the husband walks in the door from work.

While I love to make my Creamy Broccoli Soup during any time of year, I’ve learned this little Crock Pot trick is especially useful during those really cold and clammy days, like in mid January. The smell of this soup seems to perk up the sense and give everyone a feeling of optimism to get through the rest of the day.

Quick Tip: Fresh broccoli will taste much better than frozen broccoli in this soup.
