We Know What’s For Dinner Tonight—And You’re Going To Love It!
I’ve never considered myself a cook. More often than not when I’m alone you’ll find me having cereal for supper or if I’m feeling particularly adventurous frozen pizza or eggs and toast. I have just always had zero patience for cooking (I actually much prefer cleaning up!).
Lucky for me I have a husband who loves to cook and happily cooks dinner almost every night. And when he’s not cooking it’s usually because we’re treating out kids to a meal out or had a pizza delivered on an especially busy night. He’s whipped up some amazing dishes for us and has definitely spoiled my kids and me with his culinary talent.
However, a few months ago he had an accident at work that resulted in a broken right arm. This effectively forced his to hang up his chef’s hat and surrender the kitchen to me—we were both thoroughly anxious at the prospect of my acting as head chef in our home!
But I was determined to prove to him that when he needed help he could rely on me to pick up the cooking slack. I started easy with a lot of one pan dishes, but when I saw this recipe it looked so delicious I had to give it a try.
