I’ve served this to countless guests over the years and have yet to meet someone who doesn’t adore this recipe. There’s just something so fun about having a sweet treat right with your meal instead of waiting until after like we do with most desserts.
And the fact that all you do is dump the ingredients into your mixing bowl and stir together is even more reason to whip this up for your next party. Five minutes of prep work will give you a recipe sure to make your guests smile—and ask for the recipe!
Ingredients:
1 8 oz container Cool Whip (I use lite)
1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk (I use fat-free)
1 21 oz can cherry pie filling
1 20 oz can crushed pineapple, well drained
2 cups mini marshmallows
1 cup shredded coconut (unsweetened or sweetened is fine)
½ cup chopped pecans (optional)
Directions:
Combine first four ingredients in a large bowl.
Fold in remaining three ingredients.
Refrigerate for one hour before serving.
