We Don’t Know If A More Perfect (And Easy) Dip Exists
You want to know how we realized beer dip is the tastiest appetizer on the planet? My husband and I just celebrated our first wedding anniversary and I can’t help looking back on all the hard work, planning, fun, and STRESS that went into making our big day so special. I owe so much to our wonderful family and friends for helping us plan while my husband and I were finishing up grad school degrees.
While at our anniversary dinner I suggested throwing a ”Thank You” party in appreciation for everyone who had helped us along the way. My husband thought it was a great idea, and we spent much of our dinner figuring out who to invite, when to host the party and where to have it. It was actually fun planning such a low key event in comparison to a wedding!
Over the next few weeks we sent out an invite (via email—ahh, so easy!) to our close family and friends and planned on some fun and easy foods to prepare that would both be delicious for our guests and low stress for us.
The party went off without a hitch. We were able to personally thank each and every person there, catch up with a few people we hadn’t seen since the big day, and enjoy a low key get together. And we found out just how much everyone loves beer dip.

Quick tip: If you’re short on time omit the onion and bacon bits for a ”plain” beer dip recipe.
Can you substitute anything for the beer? Don’t care for the taste or smell.
IMSTEAD OF BEER USE BUTTERMILK.
Donna, did YOU actually use buttermilk? And, how did it turn out?
