Cheesy, Saucy and Spicy—This Dip Is Sure To Be Your New Favorite
In my family no family gathering is complete without a totally unnecessary amount of appetizers. I can say with a fair amount of confidence that if we all just admitted to it we’d allagree to just have appetizers for the meal and forego the pretense that any of us actually care about a main course. I mean why have turkey and stuffing on Thanksgiving when you can fill up on bacon wrapped mini weinders and spinach artichoke dip?
There’s no contest really.
It was even more apparent at out most recently Sunday dinner that we’re an appetizer family. We had 10 (yes, 10!) different appetizers that afternoon. And for the actual ”dinner”? Frozen pizzas and breadsticks. My parents didn’t even try to pretend they spent some time on the meal. It was inspiring, really.
And after discovering this gem of a recipe I’m really not sure why we’d ever keep up the pretenses again. Because it essentially combines a well-established meal with the perfect deliciousness of an appetizer. That’s a win-win in my book and a one way ticket to being the star of our next family gathering.

Quick tip: Add any other pizza toppings you love along with the pepperoni—chopped green pepper and onion are great additions.
