Cheesy, Hot, and Meaty – The Easiest Chili You Can Make
If you have a few minutes to throw some ingredients into a crock pot, then I have the perfect recipe for you. Whether it’s hot or cold outside, you can adjust the heat of my 5-Ingredient Chili to your liking!
A big jar of salsa is the key to adding all the extra flavor to this dish. I personally LOVE spicy salsa, but you can always pick mild if you would prefer that. I also like to use chunky salsa – I really like the bits of tomatoes and veggies to munch on. However, a smooth salsa will work too!
My kids love eating this chili too. I’m guessing it’s because of the entire block of melty cheese I throw in the slow cooker! In fact, if you really wanted too, you can top each individual bowl of chili off with extra cheese, and throw it under the broiler for a golden brown and bubbly, crusty topping!
I personally like to eat this 5-Ingredient Chili on rainy days, but I also have a tradition of making it on the first day there’s a big snow fall outside. There’s something about looking out the frosty window to fresh snow will slurping down a spoonful of shredded chicken, cheese, spicy broth, and savory beans.

Quick Tip: Shred the cheese in advance so it melts the best.
