This sandwich will make your taste buds dance!
When it comes to pizza in our household definitely don’t stray too far outside our comfort zone. My husband and two daughters are firmly in the traditional pie camp, preferring to stick with a red sauce, mozzarella and simple toppings. So whenever I got out for pizza with some girlfriends I always want to try something different.
And when I tried chicken bacon ranch pizza my world was forever changed. I was hooked on that delicious trifecta and couldn’t wait until I got my next fix.
But there was just one problem. I knew that my family wouldn’t touch pizza with those toppings, so I had to get creative to get satisfy my CBR craving. So I let my mind run wild and came up with this recipe that I have to say is even better than the pizza that inspired it.
After all, it’s got the same great flavors but is made in your slow cooker. And if you’re anything like me you bust that baby out every chance you get because nothing beats a set it and forget it supper that tastes like you spent all day in the kitchen.

Quick tip: If you’ve got the time, instead of using real bacon bits fry up some bacon right before you serve the sandwiches and place strips on top of the chicken for maximum crispiness.
