This Saucy Sandwich Topper Is Perfect For a Weeknight Dinner!
Every summer my college roommates and I plan a reunion weekend where we get together to catch up on life and relive our glory days. Sometimes it’s a weekend at rented cottage and other times it’s a trip to a big city to catch a show and a few good meals. Most recently we decided to let our kids and husbands in on the fun.
My family and I hosted everyone for a weekend filled with fun and food—complete with nightly bonfires and feasting on all the food we could want. I asked everyone to bring a dish to pass and, let me tell you, thee girls did not disappoint! We had more food than we knew what to do with—not that we were complaining.
But my favorite dish of the night by far was this crock pot pulled pork. When one of my friends asked if I would mind her using my crock pot for one evening I of course said she could have at it. And I’m so glad I did. This was one of the tastiest pork dishes I’d ever had in my life—including bacon—and I told her I had to have the recipe.
Lucky for me she obliged!

Quick tip: For easy clean up use a crock pot liner in your crock pot. Once all the meat is gone simply toss the liner away.
